700 Series Super Lightweight Wraparound Apron
Our Super Lightweight X-Ban® and X-Ban® No-Lead Garments weigh from 20% to 57% less than conventional X-ray protective aprons. X-Ban® is a synthetic material with 8 to 10 times the tensile strength of conventional lead vinyl and No-Lead Vinyls. The results are the lightest weight garments in the industry, with far superior integrity, strength and durability.
This wraparound coat apron is specially designed with overlapping front panels that when combined provide full protection. We've also added features that make this popular model the most comfortable of its type to wear. Our wraparound's 6 inch stretch waist belt with lumbar support redirects weight from shoulder to hips, reducing upper back stress and the fatigue associated with long procedures. Our Velcro® type side seams separate when sitting or bending. This apron combines light weight, flexible comfort and lumbar support with maximum protection.
Lead Equivalent Protective Aprons are manufactured using X-Ban® Lightweight, creating an optimized protective apron material, which provides either .35mm or 0.5MM lead equivalence while averaging a weight improvement that is 15% lighter than conventional lead vinyl aprons of similar lead equivalence.
