DR Panel Protectors

The DR Panel Protector protects your sizable investment in top-of-the-line portable Digital Radiography equipment, providing efficient and accurate weight-bearing X-rays of feet (AP view).
To use, simply place the DR Panel Protector over a portable DR panel that is positioned on the floor. Non-slip rubber grips keep the protector in place on hard flooring.
Patients can step safely onto the DR Panel Protector with as much weight as needed to obtain the desired image.
- Optimal positioning for weight-bearing AP foot images, of even the heaviest patients
- The face plate is made of unbreakable polycarbonate with designs supporting 500 and 750lbs
- Keeps patient’s foot as close to the target image platform as possible to ensure high quality images with no significant magnification
- The face plate is X-ray lucent, allowing the X-rays to pass through the Cassette Protector with very little absorption or scattering
- The face plate does not come in contact with the cassette or image receptor
- The non-slip rubber floor grips keep the cassette protector from slipping on a hard floor
- Easy to keep clean, the Cassette Protector is made from germ resistant, nonporous polyethylene, polycarbonate and stainless steel

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS:
This is the old style of panel protector. The new design shown above is far superior because it does not have screws around the edge to collect bacteria, or weaken the panel protector. As you can see with the old style, when patients stood on the center of the panel protector, over time, cracks formed around the screws. The cracks are also a place for bacteria to harbor. We feel the new design provides greater satisfaction. This old style is discontinued.
