EVA-1 Truck Mounted Radiation Monitor
As a first responder, you must prepare for dangerous radiation from dirty bombs or industrial accidents. You and your team need real-time radiation monitors to reduce the risk of exposure and manage the emergency. The EVA-1 Radiation Alarm introduces a new concept in radiation detection. The EVA-1 is the only radiation detector designed for permanent installation on emergency vehicles. The external radiation sensor detects above-normal radiation and the internal audio and visual alarm alerts responders. Command units now have the immediate situational awareness needed to direct emergency response protocol. The externally-mounted sensor and the interior alarm can be installed in any emergency response vehicle and is available in two configurations. One model is for permanent installation in the vehicle and remains operational whenever the vehicle is running. The second version incorporates a magnetic base on the external sensor and is powered through an automotive DC power outlet.
