This infant head model supports scalp venipuncture, injection, infusion and blood-drawing practice using simulated veins and blood return.
Training Features
- Realistic appearance, soft and elastic texture.
- Simulates the lateral head of an infant, complete with the main venous vascular system on the right scalp, allowing for puncture practice of scalp intravenous injection, infusion (blood transfusion), and blood drawing.
- Obvious loss of resistance is felt upon needle insertion; correct puncture results in distinct blood return, simulating venous blood reflux.
