Prolong the Life of your US-10 Phantom

DO NOT push the ultrasound probe into the endocavity with excessive pressure. This will cause faster wear on the phantom. While the silicon coating that wraps the phantom has some elasticity, the inside material does not. Pushing the probe too hard will cause faster wear and degradation to the model. The result of pushing the probe with too much force too many times will be artifacts on images and / or puncture.
Clean the endocavity after use. Leaving water or ultrasound gel inside the model will cause damage and create artifacts.
Store in a room that is 65-75°F and is humidity controlled. This will REDUCE THE RISK of mold forming.
